First Niagara Partnership

First Niagara’s School Banking Club serves 213 schools and 33,000 student account holders across Upstate New York. Sponsored by First Niagara and run by school and parent volunteers, the Banking Club makes it easy for kids to save since they can make deposits at the most convenient location for them – their school! The account belongs to the child and they can see how saving even a small amount of money each week can really add up. First Niagara believes that teaching our children the value of money is worthwhile and showing them how to save is an important step toward helping them develop financial skills for life.

First Niagara is committed to the community and proud of their Employee Volunteer Corps, an organization that takes part in thousands of events throughout the year, and helps raise money and awareness for various non for profits. First Niagara’s Mentoring Matters program funded 34 organizational mentoring programs and impacted more than 3,000 individuals throughout the Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Capital District regions. This program empowers their employees to serve as mentors in a highly energized, passionate and committed environment, and makes a lasting, positive impact on the youth throughout the communities we serve.
